Our statistics and surveys show that the vast majority of OBI students gain employment in their fields of study soon after their graduation. The college's Director of Placement coordinates the placement program by maintaining contact with local and out-of-town businesses and professional organizations to assess their employment needs. Olean Business Institute assures each graduate full cooperation and assistance in securing a position for which the student is best qualified.

Prior to graduation, each student completes a job preference survey and placement interview with the Placement Director. This survey assists OBI in sending out the graduate's resume after graduation.
